With a jar of Navarrico lentejas in your cupboard, you’ll always be able to make a quick, healthy meal. The Spanish brown lentils are ready-to-eat, so you don’t have to wait around for your lentils to cook – just drain and go!
Once drained, use the brown lentils in salads or stews. Lentils like these love red onion, parsley, spinach, tomatoes, cod, chorizo and cheeses like feta and mozzarella. Mix the lentils with beans for substantial salads that are meals by themselves, or add to a sausage stew for a hearty one-pot meal.
The lentejas brown lentils are grown in Leon in northern Spain. They're then transported to Navarre at the foot of the Pyrenees where El Navarrico cook them to perfection before packing the lentils in jars.
Ingredients: lentils, water, salt, antioxidant: E300 (ascorbic acid).
Once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within 3 days.
